Stone carving

What did I do in the workshop today? (Monday 19 November)
Today in group B I begin to shape my koru, with the cheese grater. I was also carving in the spirual and I sandpapered it to make to more round.
I think that at this moment in time I am making really good progress with my stone carving.
My next step is to shape it properly with the cheese grater.

 Monday 26 Nov
Kia ora today I will be working on my second stone carving that I want to take home, the two ideas I have thought of are Maui's Fish Hook, or harakeke.
Mauis fish hook because I think it represents leadership and bravery and trickery because that's what Maui was known for
Harakeke because I like the design and I think it represents family and love.

  1. Ka pai on another blog post, Narnya!

I like how you are not afraid to ask for help when you need it and that type of Commitment is showing off through your blogging. Your koru looks excellent so far, and I look forward to seeing it when it is finished this week.
